The Workers Bar & Kitchen

I think the management of this place need to have a close look at some of the security staff, I saw repeatedly how one of the bouncers was kicking out unagressive intoxicated teenagers in a really unprofessional manner. Clearly trying to pick a fight. Disgusting. I know it can be hard to deal with drunk people, I work in the industry but the attitude of this bouncer is just simply unacceptable.

Great! Nice atmosphere, cool decor and good drinks selection. $5 schooners on friday happy hour until 7pm is a winner too. Open until late

It's been done up since I visited it years ago. Walked in however to find a room full of 18 year olds, like an underage school dance - that sucked. Music was good, there's a decent outdoor balcony, and separate gameroom with pool table.

If you want to go out late, this is probably your best option in Balmain. They also have some games and a foosball table upstairs. Good beers on tap. Can get crowded late on the weekend.
