One of the most Balmain cafes you could think of. In the back of a few other stores, seating is wooden crates. Definitely a very hipster vibe, and cute industrial decor. Lost two stars just because although it was good, my coffee order was so expensive! ($5.50 takeaway for a soy mocha). The cup is so much smaller than most regular sized cups as well - see picture.

I had to try this place but wouldn't go back again. Great coffee but very limited menu. Having said that what I had was nice. The cook was perspiring in the heat of the Cafe, uncomfortable chairs and average service. The coffee cups are very small compared to other Cafes.

Came here just after they had reopened from Xmas break so not all of the items on the menu was available but they were super accommodating. We had two of the daily bagels (pastrami) on the charcoal quinoa GF bread due to bagels not being available and it was so delicious! Probably prefer this GF bread than bagels actually. Also had a long black and a filter which were great with fruity notes. Great jobs guys!

Accommodated my vegan diet and they made a yummy vegan bowl for me. Awesome coffee too!

Blink and you’ll miss this place. Hidden off the main road, the Hunter works produce some quality food and coffee. Owners and staff are very accommodating. Warm, cosy and family friendly cafe. Small deli and retail section is a delight. 👌🏼
