We had a group of 7, booked an Indoor space the atrium for ourselves for Sunday lunch. The shared set menu for $75 had more than enough food for everyone was delicious. We had a few bottles of wine for the table, wait staff very attentive and accommodating our dietary needs. Recommended for groups also a sweet date spot, garden also beautiful choice for smaller groups or cocktails.

Visited The Cottage Balmain in Sydney, and it was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish.nThe steak was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The side dishes complemented it perfectly, and the wine pairing elevated the whole meal. The space itself was charming, with a cozy yet refined atmosphere that felt both local and special. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable.nIt’s the kind of place that’s perfect for date nights, dinners with friends, or celebrating something special. A real gem in Balmain.

The Cottage Balmain is such a gem! The food was fantastic and full of flavour, and their aperol happy hour was a definite highlight. The staff were incredibly accommodating and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Service was quick and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The outdoor area is beautiful and creates the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

Lovely tasty dishes and the setting was satisfying for a group get together or date night. Crab spaghetti was delicious!

This is a lovely venue, the Cottage is beautiful and really feels like you are walking into someone’s house and it is decorated accordingly. We only popped in for drinks, and can highly recommend the espresso martini. The staff were lovely and we definitely will be back to try the food.
