Have a decent stock of spare parts, knowledgeable staff, popular brands & not overpriced. Can quickly get products what I need & they're open till 5.30pm & beats  paying mechanic $100 p/h +parts. *****now 1 star as I'm sick of being followed around the store being treated like a thief if I don't buy an item within 5 mins. I f I ask the price of 3 things as they're not marked plz don't just ask me for the money either.. Rude & lost my business

Rang up about a product, they told me they had it in stock for $13, got there they told me the product would likely be very expensive and only available at specialty stores, went to super cheap auto it was $8. Not impressed when my time is wasted, will not be shopping at repco again.

I purchased a new battery in February this year with a 2-year warranty. The battery is completely dead, despite being on charge for 30-hours or so. In fact you can't even get the car going with a jump-starter. I called on the weekend and they told me that they do not replace faulty batteries on the weekend!!! So I took the battery in on Monday, which they tested and informed me that it was completely dead (what a surprise!!!). I was then told that they needed to put the battery on charge and have Century Batteries come and test it before it could be replaced. They promised to call me the next day and surprise, surprise, no call. I called them back of Friday and was told the battery did not have the cranking capacity to start a car, but they would not replace it under warranty. They said they could try charging it overnight and I could pick it up tomorrow. I then called head office and four times and was transferred to people that were either away on holidays or not in the office to respond. In the end I called and asked if there was anybody at Repco that had any idea about customer service and if so, could I please be transferred to them. I finally got to talk to somebody who was both nice and understanding and told me that she would refer my complaint immediately to the area manger. However, she then told me that they would get back to me in the next 48-hours. Never mind if you need the car and you are not happy to drive back and forth to Repco!!! What an absolute joke, my advice is that you do not purchase a battery or anything else from Repco. I for one will not be going back there for anything, Autobarn is cheaper and couldn't possibly provide worse customer service. I should add, even the staff agree it's a joke!!! Get your act together Repco or join the growing list of retailers that go broke. As an update, they did give me a new battery, however the process took a week, which is totally unacceptable.

The staff here are fantastic...I have been going to them since they opened in East Bentleigh. The prices are good and I have found the staff very knowledgable.  I mainly buy servicing consumables for my car and Repco Brand oil  is fantastic...It is actually Penrite rebadged with all the same  specifications....at a cheaper price. There OEM filters are made by Ryco and I find them more knowledgable than the staff at Auto Barn. Keep up the good work.
