Be careful. Always check your receipt they often over charge and have the wrong price displayed. Not to be trusted.
They have great range of products, especially more non standard ones like several choices of European foods like sauerkraut, rare spices, craft sweets and cakes and special breads as well as a sushi bar and an amazing deli at the back. But I especially like the long term staff members that you grow to know, joke with and almost feel that they are a member of the family. This is a rare thing compared to the hussle and bustle of a busy large chain supermarket.
Good selection of small artisan brands. Heaps of stuff you won't find in many other shops. Prices are a little high though, and make sure you check use-by dates on EVERYTHING before you buy. Lots of things can sit there for ages and expire, including fruit and veg.
Great supermarket. Great variety of food, not as cheap as a Coles but the store is wonderful, clean and has tons of variety.
Purchased $10 worth of items and walked out the door, only to be flagged down by one of the cashiers who demanded to check my bag and accused me of shoplifting. She took me back inside only for the cashier who served me to chastise her for stopping me, informing her that I had been served and paid 30 seconds earlier. I had been a regular paying customer for a year, including being served multiple times by the same cashier who accused me of stealing a sundry amount of groceries. I won't be back.
Expensive BUT a really nice quality selection of produce, meats and shelf goods. Their deli section has great offerings, and their canned, bottled, and packaged goods are of excellent quality and with a decent variety to select from. It is not too big or too small overall it is a perfectly sized supermarket of top end goods. I visited on a Monday about 1.30pm and the parking lot had a quickly moving population with the odd spare spot. I will definitely go there again as it was a pleasant, easy, in and out trip, with good things to choose from, with a quick well staffed checkout setup.
Love this IGA, mostly friendly and helpful staff besides one girl who rolls her eyes at me!!. The cheese range is phenomenal, great range of gluten free/dietary requirements products. Great little local supermarket.
Bought some packets of vol au vents there this morning and used by date is early Nov 2021 - more than 3 months ago. And reading the previous reviews it seems I'm not the only one to have experienced purchasing out of date goods from this shop. Poor service!
Great sushi bar attached to it. It's a small local iga, you accept it'll be a little pricier, but good selection.
Can you love a supermarket? I'm not so sure but this place is a favourite even though it's not local to me. A great mix a different brands and items. Have been visiting on and off for many years. Clean, concise, friendly and well worth a visit if it's in your area.
