We booked the tour via our travel agent in Germany. 
The pick-up from hotel in the morning was in time. 
But when we returned, we could not find the bus back to the hotel. After waiting 30 min ant the bus terminal we gave up and went by walk to our hotel. Bad organisation, room for improvement. 
So the check in was quick and easy.
It's very touristic, moreover we went on ANZAC Day. Lots of people. Swimming only in swim suites provided by the tour company. 
The reef seemed pretty dead. 
The allover experience was not bad, it's a thing you will probably do only once. As for this it's worth.

We completed 3 days reef cruise with 3 different companies and Reef magic stands out. Staff are polite and patient, services are fantastic. If anyone looking for one day cruise, this got to be the one. Just wish it could be an hour longer. Definitely coming back.

My first cruise on 2nd june was awesome 
Even though i felt sea sick initially but the crew especially Sebastian he was such a great guy,he was holding my tissue and stood next to with paper cover to help me with clear my vomit.i express my gratitude to him and other crew are very welcoming & helpful.
But one suggestion for non swimmers like me , learn swim before you go because u will enjoy the most.

Absolutely amazing!!!!! I'm definately recommand this for holiday! Most of staff were very nice and friendly also buffet lunch qualiy was not bad.
