Rapid Auto Repair specialises in all elements of vehicle diagnosis and repairs, child restraints and tyres.

Story

With a number of years of experience already under our belt, we have built up an excellent team of 8 fully qualified mechanics. We provide a high quality and efficient service every time and will carry out repairs while you wait, for your convenience.

We are proud to be RMS Accredited for Child Restraint Installation and are an NRMA Approved Repairer. On top of this, we provide a 12 month guarantee on all mechanical work we carry out, so when you come to Rapid Auto Repair, you know you will receive the best quality service and can be confident that you’re vehicle will run smoothly.

We are located in Goulborun, New South Wales, but also service the Marulan, Tarago and Crookwell areas.

I left one of my cars with Rapid Auto Repair after having significant troubles with it; I also mentioned that I believed the vehicle may require new windscreen wipers. The car, which was of little value, was determined to have a repair bill far exceeding it's worth. At the time I was informed of this, the staff also explained they'd fitted the windscreen wipers. I requested to have the wipers removed as at the time, I could not afford to repair the vehicle. I was told that as they'd already fitted the wipers, I would be charged the cost for both installation and removal should I choose to proceed with my request. I couldn't, and still can't understand why wipers were fitted to a vehicle that wasn't worth repairing. Don't expect this business, or it's the staff, to have any empathy for your situation, or to apply basic common sense.

This is one of the finest garages I've come across -- broke down with a broken driveshaft outside of Goulburn on a Sunday. The replacement part was sourced on the Monday and the car ready to go by 5pm the same day. The cost was as quoted, the service friendly. A model of good business! Thanks to all who got me back on the road in such a reassuring way!!

i was travelling from nsw to wa, asked for a diagnosis because the car was playing up, ripped me off $500 for a complete intake clean that didnt happen, took 3 days to get it back from them, they used the old intake manifold gaskets and had to re do it all myself, waste of $500 + $350 for accomodation, steer clear!
