“Ordered a Vindaloo and what arrived was an orange, creamy dish with absolutely no heat at all. A Vindaloo is supposed to be a hot, fiery, vinegar based spicy curry — this had zero flavour, zero kick, and looked more like a butter chicken. My three‑year‑old could’ve eaten it without blinking.nnWhen I called the restaurant, they told me there’s an option on the menu to choose mild, medium, or hot. I don’t know why that would even exist for a Vindaloo, because a Vindaloo is not a mild or medium curry. And when I checked their website, there was no such option listed under the Vindaloo anyway.nnCompletely misleading and nowhere near what a Vindaloo is meant to be.” First photo is what I expected. 2nd photo what I got.nAbsolutely terrible.
The food is always delicious and the service is great too. Never disappoints. Our favourite Indian restaurant on the Gold Coast.
We have lived on the Gold Coast for 18 years and have been going to Randhawa's for at least 10 years. Always for takeaway. They used to be fabulous, great food, unbelievable quantity. But the last year or so they seem to have gone downhill in our experience. We had an order tonight and we both agreed that the garlic naan tasted bland. We were wondering if they had made a mistake. There also used to be loads of vegies in our respective dishes. Not tonight. We used to order a vegie dish so didn't do that tonight. As a result our dishes didn't seem to have anything in the way of vegetable. In saying all this, the veg spring rolls were delicious.
Absolutely outstanding!nHad dinner this evening at Randhawa’s Indian Cuisine — great service, delicious food, and a beautiful grand location. There’s a real sense of timeless Indian cuisine here, with every single dish made from scratch in-house. You can taste the authenticity and care in every bite. A true standout on the Gold Coast — simply a great choice!
We had the pleasure of having a special birthday meal at Randhawas a few weeks ago. The service was excellent and our meals were absolutely delicious. We cook indian food regularly so if we're eating out, it has to be something different and extra special. The staff went above and beyond and honoured our requests. Randhawas exceeded our expectations and we look forward to visiting regularly with friends and family!
