Probably the worst hotel experience I have had for quite some time.nThere were a lot of issues. Had a late check in and was left a key in a lockbox reception closes at 8pm. Really bad smell in my room stale smoke. Air conditioning not functioning. No opening windows. Floor was also dirty - not vacuumed. I rang for assistance twice and some annoyed sounding person arranged the night manager to come. I waited 40 mins for the night manager who then eventually found me another room 20 minutes later. The night manager was not onsite but at a different hotel and he knew about the air conditioning fault, which means the hotel knew and put me in that room anyway.nnThe air conditioning was also not working in the 2nd room and the room was not clean either dirty floor again but it was midnight by this stage.nnMet another guest at checkout with the similar experience and had to have 3 different rooms before they found one that was acceptable.nnThe hotel is generally in poor condition, clearly badly managed with strange smells from many areas. Very, very poor experience. Charging hotel prices for a backpacker experience.nnI will never be back. AVOID!!
nVery disappointing staynnWe were really let down by our experience at the Ramada Remarkables Hotel. Our shower had visible mould, and our room was not serviced until after 5pm — and on most days, it wasn’t serviced at all. We had to actively request more toilet paper and fresh towels because basic housekeeping just wasn’t happening.nnOverall, it was a very poor experience and not what we expected from a hotel of this standard. We hope management seriously addresses these issues.
We had a wonderful experience staying in the hotel apartment. Large room with lot of space, has all facilities we need, very comfortable beds. Excellent location: 5 mins walk to New World super market, beautiful environment with mountain view.
It's a great location if you want to be near the mountains. But if you're looking to be near bars and pubs, then it's better to stay in town.nnEither way, it did the job. We had a lovely studio with a kitchenette, washing machine and a dryer which was very practical and saved us a lot of money. We also had nice mountains views from our studio window.nnNice cafe on the ground floor of the hotel too.
Had a wonderful stay beautiful 1bedroom with laundry washer and dryer in the room. Had an amazing view from our room and loved the heartfelt gesture Personally we would like to thank Ileana at the reception she was so wonderful and helpful. Thankyou for making our stay special and memorable first trip to Queenstown! We will be back !
