Here’s a revised version of your message: "I had a terrible experience after being stranded in a highly dangerous spot on the M1. Despite paying $250 to join, I had to wait for highway patrol to rescue us. They were supposed to take us to a nearby petrol station, but once there, I was told to call again and wait in the queue for an RACQ patrol. I was stuck on the motorway for 1.5 hours with two babies in the car, and after reaching safety, being asked to call again and wait is unacceptable. They also told me they may or may not assist on the M1. What’s the point of having a membership if they can choose when to help? I’m beyond frustrated! I even spoke to a manager who refused to consider my suggestion for prioritizing assistance for mothers with young children." Mothers with babies should her priority support! I would not recommend RACQ if you travel on highways they fob you off to highway patrol! Thank god the amazing team at gold coast light and heavy tow took me home to safety! I was not offered any apology or refund for a service I paid for and never received!
Injured and my car destroyed by an RACQ insured driver, their driver deleted their own dashcam footage and despite every independent person finding them completely dishonest in all their actions including AFCA, RACQ fights not to do the right thing at every step and will never apologise for their disgraceful actions, absolutely evil to the heart company, total lack of any ethics... Their customer relations team is designed from the ground up to be one sided, biased and do whatever is in the financial interest of RACQ no matter the facts, they will twist anything to make it fit... There needs to be an inquiry into the practices of this team, they lied at every stage even to AFCA yet they get off with a tiny fine and they will keep doing this to more victims..
Came to get international driver permit, supposedly simple processes in the past with EMP RACQ. Carindale staff assisted me made it awfully difficult at every single step, at last refused the service, base on his excuse ,which not written anywhere on RACQ website or AAA website:passport photo for IDP must be less than 6 months old, while my photo was from last year. my photo on my Passport and driver license are all years older, no problem anywhere in the world. Ironically,same photos critical problem for RACQ IDP, even IDP is just notary translation copy of driver license, moreover, Australian pay so dearly,more than the most expensive passport for 2 mins service, also 1 cents paper. I have been a custom of RACQ for many years,even RACQ increased price so much, Home&Contents insurance, car insurance, also roadside assistant. Never had to made a claim. Base on this experience , I think it is time to find other insurance service provider I can count on.It is seriously concerning, if I ever have to use RACQ service, RACQ can and very well be make claim process difficult or even invalid my claim if they can find any excuses, even it is not written anywhere.
I use our insurance to repair sheet metal in a garage.But they repaired it very badly.It's a complete lie. I tried to give this report to the claims department.But the claims department was very rude, and hung up on me directly, and turned me down and replaced me with a repair shop.suggestionI hope the person in charge can come out and help me solve this matter, because I have been completely cheated.

Hubby and l just went in get our holiday insurance with the RACQ Holiday people, when we asked if we could pay in cash, we were told that the travel department don’t take cash.
This is the first time in my life giving a low rating on Google Map: In RACQ, We are not customers, we are not members, we are just numbers. My car’s battery went flat. I called Roadside Assistance. A patrol came to change the battery. I paid the money. The Patrol sat in my car, firmly pressed a lot of buttons to make sure the new battery works. He is a big guy with huge fingers. Everything looked fine until the patrol left and I found out that the switch board on my right hand side to control the windows were broken. The buttons fell inside a little bitsee the photo. I contacted with RACQ. The lady told me that I have to ask a Mechanician to explain why this damage happened and how was it related to RACQ. So I have to get a paperwork from a Mechanician. I then explained that the switch is actually still working. So it is not that big problem. Don’t be scared. I don’t need a new car, I don’t need a new switch, I don’t need any compensation, all I need is that they can come to glue it. Then she agreed to send another Patrol to me to check the damage. The Patrol opened the switch. We could clearly see that the screw is broken. Just need to glue it. I asked him to glue it. He said he didn’t have a glue, which really doesn’t make any sense because he was driving that big tool truck. He just took some photos and left. The office didn’t respond to me until after Easter Holidaysee screenshot: RACQ does not want to fix this damage! I need to give more evidence to prove that this damage was caused by the patrol! They told me I could only complain this to Office of Fair Trading! This is Ridiculous. How could I get evidence of this? I didn’t use a video camera when the patrol doing all of those things in my car. They think I would lie for just a ten dollar damage which can be easily fixed by a glue? Also this is my first time in my life to make a claim from RACQ. The damage is so insignificant, but their attitude says everything. In RACQ, we are not a member, not even a valued customer. We are just nothing. We can only get help from Fair Trading when there is a problem. After being a so insignificant member for many years, my partner and I will quit RACQ as soon as possible. We are looking for a new insurance company.
Fantastic customer service and care! My car was attended to within 15min and the road side mechanic was really helpful and friendly. Great service from start to end! Membership is Worth every dollar for peace of mind and safely when it comes to car troubles!
Open up a bank for saving, the staff were very helpful and friendly and they did know there work as well, I update this post in a few months time to see if I did get to save money into this RACQ bank account as I don't have a card to get money out or internet banking at all, so I do recommend this place and don't use internet banking or get a card like the good old days then you won't use your savings at all.
