Attention to detail is extremely poor. The technician who repaired my car snapped several trim pins upon removal and didn't bother to replace them. Others are just missing completely. Entire grill almost fell out on the freeway. What an absolute joke of a service centre.
Twice now our car come out worse after a service than before it was taken in. The first I put down to chance that something happened coincidentally after a service, but fool my twice then shame on me. Riddle me this RAC Morley: How do you have an essential service performed on a car that's in good condition and has not broken down ever, and it then breaks down 6 days later? This is actually a scam. Do not use this service centre. They charge through the nose and make your car worse, not better. Go somewhere else and avoid this centre at all costs.Service: General repairs
Had my car towed here after hours. The service centre had good communication and kept me updated throughout the day as to when I could pick my car up. I had my car back to me in less than 24 hours.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
I dropped in to the service reception in Morley and spoke to John regards a piston ring job on my Honda Accord and he was going to send me a quote. He had my email address and phone number. After a few days I phoned him, not receiving any quote and he fobbed me off with an excuse about taking time to price up the parts. What he did say was "It's not going to be cheap" surprise!?. More than a week later, still no quote or courtesy phone call. Nothing. Up until 'this' I had a lot of respect for the RAC, but not so much now. I think they've got the wrong guy on the job at the front service desk at Morley. Disappointed with a miserable standard of service.
My car has been fix in here few days ago, the price was way too expensive. Alternator replacement cost above 300 that make sense but the "parts used" are above 800 that's makes me confuse I'm thought It gonna be cheaper for RAC member, unfortunatelly it's not. Also the car window has damage before It was ok and now cannot be scroll up, they kept their mouth off until you find out. Ask the price first and inspect your car before you go. Friendly reminder, prefer to go to the others place.
Very pleasant experience, except no staff for our complimentary car wash and vacuum, witch I didn't no until the day of the service, so bit disappointed it wasn't in my reminded message
RAC Morley. Situation: My car broke down at the side of the road due to clutch problems. Price: Original quote $1636.40 to final cost $1250 after heavy discounts. They were very accommodating, after I advised other quotes, I was given a breakdown of costs... RAC Morley Mel was very accommodating to ensure I got the best price. Service; I mainly dealt with Mel. They were professional. Communication was open, clear and concise... and if they had to check with others, they always call back as promised. Friendly and warm when I went to pick up my car. Would I recommend: I would highly recommend this place. From reading other reviews, I was nervous about having my car there... But let me tell you, I would definitely go back if I had issues with my car in future. RAC Morley centre: Great location, plenty of parking and easy to find. Reception was clean and tidy. There is a waiting room with tv, lounges and tables. Didn't really look at the facilities available but I believe there is water, tea and coffee.
I am disappointed that I have to give them 1 star to give this review. As a RAC member for years I would think that RAC would not give such poor service, inflated pricing for what you get. I was on hold 3 times in a day for way over 30 mins each time and had to drive in to discover my car waiting for me to pick up and no one had rung me to let me know. The price of the service and work done was expensive compared to other I have spoken too on what I had done. I will not be go here again.
Been with RAC for a long time and not changing anyone soon, quick repairs organised and saving about 40% on the dealer cost for a a service
I said that while I was all nerves with the situation, along came this young RAC gent who calmly put a machine on the car the alternator packed up then he asked me how my day was otherwise, besides what had just happened. I was so impressed. Everything that followed was so efficiently and professionally handled given the time of night too that hell, after that, I actually did have a good night sleep. Thank you RAC, you have my recommendation for sure.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
