Perth Vet Emergency is an emergency and critical care hospital for small animals. Our team are here every night, weekend and public holiday to help both you and your pet when you need us. We're available to offer veterinary treatment to all companion animals when their General Practitioner is closed.

My Beagle broke through the barricades and ate some chocolates from the kids Christmas stockings. I brought him in to PVE Christmas morning and the staff were everything you would want them to be: attentive, caring, professional and provided regular updates. Our pooch was treated and recovered fully.

I brought our very sick Labrador in on New Year's Eve. He stayed in for 30 hours due to emergency surgery and investigations. Every single member of staff were compassionate, kind, professional and went above and beyond with their treatment to Alfie. They were incredibly calming, caring and informative. Text pics and updates to me, whilst Alfie was in hospital. Follow up texts to see how he was going after discharged home. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Thanks Perth Vet Emergency team! Our dog Winchester was treated immediately on arrival. The team were helpful, and communicated with us consistently throughout the visit. Winchester is fully recovered now, and full of beans again! Highly recommend this emergency practice. Thanks team!

I can't thank the team at Perth Vet Emergency enough for the kind and compassionate care they showed us when we bought our dog Sophie in. From the young lady on the front desk Kasey, to the nurse who saw us immediately and then the Vet, Dr Kim. They were all outstanding in their level of care and importantly for us, kept us informed every step of the way.The photos we received during Sophie's stay helped put us at ease which meant the kids could get off to sleep that night! Can't put a price on that! Thanks again everyone.

My dog Ollie was admitted to PVE with what turned out to be pancreatitis and spent several days in their care. As a pet owner whose dog had never experienced any health issues, I was really grateful for the support from the PVE staff. They called me regularly about how he was doing, allowed me to come and spend time with him and even txt through lovely photos of him better than any of the photos I had tried to take. The staff were really genuine people which made the whole ordeal so much more bearable. I can’t sing their praises enough for caring for my boy and for being so bright and cheerful in what I imagine would be a really emotionally challenging workplace. Thank you all!

The people at Perth Vet Emergency were amazing and looked after our cat Percy in a big way the poor thing had an allergic reaction from a spider bite and after a thorough examination found the problem. We took him in just after 9pm. The staff were very caring and gave us the appropriate medication for him along with checking up via text I highly recommend this place and am grateful for all of the staff. He is on the mend and the medication is working well.

We have had fantastic service from the team here on two emergency occasions. All the staff are friendly and cooperative, making the extra effort to check in several days after being back home. Highly recommend this vet when you’re in a sticky situation with your pet.

Last Saturday took my 12 week old puppy outside after he had his breakfast and sicked it up. After that he kept retching and bringing up froth but couldn’t seem to stop so I rang my vet out of hours and it gave me the Emergency  Vets in Yokine number. Nervously, I rang and my call was picked up immediately and the lovely girl on the end of the phone calmed me down and asked me to bring him in immediately. I did and the staff were just lovely and reassuring. The vets and staff updated me with calls and photos of him being cuddled and shown love through the day and all ended up ok with me collecting him at 8pm. I cannot praise this vets enough. They were just great, very efficient and caring, for my pup and myself.

My Frenchie suffered from a severe heat stroke 42.7 C body temperature. Luckily we got there just on time and the team did an amazing job to keep my dog alive! They knew exactly what to do, and within about 30h my dog was back home. During the time they had my pet, the vets kept in contact with me, and were extremely detailed in explaining how they were monitoring my dog. The team was also very empathetic and kind. The service was very costly, that’s the only downside. A big thank you to all of you for saving my dog’s life!

I took my Maltese dog to Perth Vet Emergency in Yokine last Friday night around 10pm. My dog was breathing fast and in a very anxious state. Upon arrival, I was greeted by nurse Jo very promptly. She was reassuring and courteous. Within ten minutes, Vet Bridie saw my dog, checked his vitals and discussed with me her findings. I found Bridie to be a very caring and knowledgeable vet. Overall I was very impressed with the care and service I was provided. I will definitely be recommending PVE to family and friends.
