Held my birthday party here. It was great for kids and parents. The waterfront area was absolutely beautiful, with the huge gums for shade and a wonderful breeze. Organising the booking was very easy and excellent value. The museum shop has some moves ice blocks and soft drinks, that where nice to have on the riverfront on a hot summer day. The all volunteer staff are great, and eager to help and chat. I know I'll be back.

Amazing museum. My boys and I loved exploring the warship, Diamantina. We had no idea of all the levels in the warship. We were there a couple of hours and still missed parts of the ship inside, it's an incredible maze in there. Can't wait to go back and see it again. The displays inside were exceptional, the best maritime museum I've been to including the Sydney Maritime museum. I think the entrance fee was very reasonable, a lot cheaper than the Brisbane Museum down the road and considering all the staff are volunteers; the money goes towards restoration and preservation of these historical treasures.

Really nice place for a visit along the Brisbane River. Reasonably priced tickets. Probably needs air conditioning.

Many interesting exhibits, the dry dock was particularly fascinating. The price may be a little high, but it's still reasonable for a museum of this size in such a convenient location
