South Bank Parklands

Amazing place to take your family or friends. Recently moved to Brisbane and this is my go to place to relax and have a swim. Perfect for summer. It has a man-made beach on oneside and a nice clear pool on the other. The place has many food outlets, it has nice ambience for walking around and the gardens are so beautiful. It is right in the city and so pretty looking.

How awesome take our little man for a swim and play. So awesome that you can take the ferry there and then have the nice shallow parts for young kids with rocks to climb on next to a sandy pool. Love it

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Brisbane to walk along the Parklands and even go for dip on the artificial lagoon on a hot day. Plenty of eateries next to the Parklands and the cinemas there are cheap as chips. They host the Regional Flavours festival every year and it's a great visit with lots of amazing food, free samplers and beautiful produce from regional and SE Queensland.

Lovely place to relax with family and friends. Great view of the city and river bridge. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Lots of things happening every time I visit their. Finally not to forget it's artificial beach, a must visit for pool enthusiast.

It was very fun and enjoyable. As a kid, the best part was the fake beach, or the playground. Both fabulous. Though the dark wood was very hot and burnt my feet, ouch! Other than that I would recommend you their!
