Worst government office I have visited till date. Lady was super rude when it was their system which was not working. For some reason their whole system is SMS code dependant, if that does not work then they just tell you to “come back when the system is working again” to which they don’t even give an ETA. I am willing to bet all our data is being stolen on a daily basis with level of backend system they have. Startup’s with 1 guy working from his parents basement would have a more robust system. Finally, apparently if you have an international passport they can’t verify your identity online because they have racially profile you in person.
Qld government sure know how to screw over its people. Applied for storm relief after Xmas day storms which knocked down some of my house and broke my leg and caused extensive damage to home and contents , they will not assist you if you worked prior to the incident.
I am sick of the doctors and hospitals in my local area not giving adequate care and you the government do nothing about it. It is just like you want people to suffer and not go to work because the pain they are in, keeps them from being actively healthy. You care but you don't care and then again, you all just put on an act for the people and probably don't show your true colours, but we all see what you are all like when you are all arguing like teenagers in parliament house throwing comments at each other instead of working together to fix this country. Grow up all of you and act your age and not your shoe size.

I had to come to Counter 5 for some work and I was very impressed with the service I received. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they went the extra mile to suggest something that would be helpful for something i need.I came in around 1:30 or 2pm,
Update on 25/01/2022 and increased the stars from 1 to 3 I made to compaint to Department of Transport regarding the fine which we received for driving a car without registration due to them failing to send us a reminder. They investigated and prepared a letter for QLD Police to say that it was an operator error and we indeed didn't get a reminder. I sent the letter to QLD Police and they waived the fine. At the end of the day it took me 4-5 phone calls, but DoT and QLD Police did a good job and we are statisfied with the outcome. Original: Queensland government, As a new Queensland resident I have to say that the way you deliver e-services to the residents is appalling! First, when we relocated to Brisbane from Melbourne we stayed in hotel quarantine. We were told that we will recieve the invoice up to 30 days after checking out. Months went by and one year later, all of a sudden, I received a text message from a debt collection company about an overdue payment for hotel quarantine! So, you had the technical abilities to provide my contact details to the debt collectors, but didn't have the same to send me the invoice on the phone number, email or postal address that I left for that purpose! Shame on you! Second, today I was fined $1000 for driving a car with expired registration. Why did the registration expire? Beacause you never sent me a reminder that the payment is due. You will say that it's my job to follow up on that and that's correct, but well, silly me, I was so spoiled by the Victorian government who are sending reminders left, right and centre, that I had the same expectations for the Queensland government as well. Before moving here, I didn't want to believe the people who were telling me that Qld is 10 steps behind ... everything, but unfortunately they were right. So my advice is to pick up your game, otherwise you'll disappoint the all of the other tens and thousands of people who moved here in the past year.
Car licenses are to expensive to renew this needs to be looked into should be a quarter of the price.. max! since we pay so much tax!
Well if you can call anytime day or night and speak to a consultant that knows what their doing for a registered nurse referral or to make a camping booking, I think that's amazing.
QLD needs a NSW style ICAC. CCC is toothless. Keep the basxxrds honest.
If you need a Queensland Government Service, this is your place. They do everything a Queensland Government should do. The workers work really really hard, and for very little money, but they love there work.
