The lady seemed rather inexperienced. Waited almost one hour with only two customers seen before me. When it was my turn, she tried to take blood sample but was unable to do so so told me to go to another pathologist. I had to take the blood test today and if i was seen quick enough, i may have time to drive to another pathologist but i had to go to work and was running late due to the very long wait for nothing. It also took her very long to even start trying to take samples coz she wasn’t sure what she needed to do. Overall, it was almost 1.5 hours of me being there despite arriving just after they opened. I understand she was trying to be cautious in taking blood sample after i told her that i end up with massive bruising on the two arms when i went to another branch. But she barely tried. Was there 1.5 hours and needle in me just once and less than a minute when she said she couldn’t do it. Nothing against her. But she obviously needs more training before being left on her own.
Rang this place as doctor said they did the test I was after. I left a message - no one called back a few hours later so I called back. I was told by someone who seemed confused that they did not do the test. After I mentioned that their own website says they do she told me that yes they did.. when I questioned their experience and knowledge of the test she really abruptly told me to go somewhere else.... So I did! They seem to think they are special and don't need to have any customer service or respect. I will NEVER go here ever.
The staff at qml is really efficient and polite. Both May and Suman are very helpful. They double-checked about a specific issue related to my test at my request with patience even if it was at the rush hour. Suman's who did the test for me time management skills are excellent juggling between patients. Both of them are an asset to QML.
My wife is an overseas citizen who doesn't have medicare. Went in for a few blood tests. They charged us $140, however they then rang us a couple days later to come in again because they made a mistake, and that we wouldn't be charged for it. The lady doing it the first time was a trainee. Then afterwards continued to keep sending us invoices for a further $137 for their own mistake. Rang up the head office and the lady over the phone said she would freeze any owing balance until it was sorted. Yet they kept sending us "overdue invoices" to the point where they got their "australian recoveries & mercantile agents" to help them recover the overdue payment. Threatening us with further action if we didn't pay, once again, for their mistake. So ended up just paying it because I couldn't be bothered dealing with their incompetence anymore.
The pathology attendant is very rude. You have no right to raise your voice at your patient! Your lucky because my husband is so calm.
I had an excellent experience this morning with a lovely woman named Georgia. She was very caring while also fast and professional. Will go there again next time.
Terrible experience....attendant was very rude Didn’t even bother to respond when I greeted her....looked very unhappy while attending me Hurt my arm badly....blood didn’t stop coming after blood taken
