Terrible service. I purchased a Lorus watch (supposed to be a Seiko by another name?) It lasted 4 days, no kidding, 4 days. When I took it back to Proud s Mt Ommaney, they informed me that it had to be returned to the factory who would decide if it was would be covered by warranty. Further because it was close to Christmas, the process would take 4-6 weeks. When I contacted them again 6 weeks later, they advised that it had just come in and that they had tried to contact me but did not get an answer. Guess what, no evidence of the call on my mobile, which would also question their ethics.

Terrible after sales service - bought a SEIKO watch from PROUDS MT OMMANEY which died after 6 months. Got a new battery - still dead. I take the watch back for a replacement, and they said the Warranty is void because I had the battery changed (!) Then they wanted to charge me $15 (!!) to post it to SEIKO for me, and told me to "wait 4-6 weeks" and "see what SEIKO says, they might or might not fix it under warranty, and there might be extra charges". I asked if the $15 would be refunded if the warranty claim went through, and they sad no. I'm sure this is illegal - but the manager said this was the best they could do. For $15 I can send it to SEIKO myself, thank you for NOTHING, PROUDS!
