We ordered our wedding bands at this store - my husband tried his ring and got it correctly sized and the young fella who served us processed the order. A day later I got a call saying the staff member did the wrong price and I had to pay more - sure no worries. A month we waited for the rings and my husband picked them up. He signed for the pick up and when trying the ring at home it was 3 SIZES too big. The manager in store was absolutely disgraceful saying we have to pay to fix it. At what point of the sales process do you guys think we try on a ring and it falls of the finger and we say yep thats about right? You all need a good hard look at yourselves, ripping off customers and trying to steal their money and make them pay for YOUR mistakes. Judging by the reviews customer retention is not your strength so maybe next time you “talk to head-office” you might want to recommend a refresher. We decided to take our business to LeGassick around the corner from your store, who have a more professional level of customer service, 100% recommend to walk straight past Prouds.
The level of knowledge was pretty low, I wanted to know the differences between the functionality of various watches and they staff member pretend the whole time to know. Things like "this one has hands, and this one is digital" is a pretty poor response to "can you tell me about the key differences and features of these watches". 3 stars because she let me try them all on without hesitancy.
I walked up to 2 staff at tge registers who I couldn't see had any customers around. I asked if tgey had any anklets the reply was 'we are with a customer' Tgey couldn't even point me in the direction to look and was older and looked like tge manager as she was helping the other lady. No Hello, no ill be with you in a moment, no they just in that cabinet. Absolutely no customer service skills. I'll choose the opposition from now on.
What a disgraceful experience received from the Assistant Manager of this store. No warm greeting on arrival, more as if it was an inconvenience for her to serve a customer. Started with a condescending tone and rude attitude. Definitely won’t return to this store and would strongly recommend some training in basic customer service. Perhaps then you won’t require as many signs to let shoppers know that abuse will not be tolerated!
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE! I was served by a young lady named Christina/Christine - blonde hair - who had an attitude that was not matched for retail. When asking for a refund on a FAULTY pair of earrings, she stated that she could see they were faulty, but that she would not offer a refund as the earrings would need to be sent to head office for assessment taking anywhere from 3-5 weeks to reach an official conclusion. Then when asked if I could speak to the manager, she refused and stated that her manager does not want to speak to anyone about the matter. Her passive aggressive nature mixed with completely inappropriate and not to mention blatantly rude ways of dealing with customers is what led me to driving to Pacific Fair where I was served with respect and actually was given a refund without question! This store needs to either get rid of this particular young lady or completely remodel their training in dealing with customer issues as I will never be shopping here again or at any other Prouds stores : If you do need to purchase anything from any of the Prouds stores, I would HIGHLY recommend driving down the road to Pacific Fair where the staff are more than accomodating.
So disappointed by the customer service here. Such awful, ignorant ladies. Don’t know if she gave me her real name Hailey but she had dark brown hair and an attitude. Her co worker was also very rude too. I feel so sorry for the manager.
I have read the reviews for this store and I must say my experience was the opposite. I had a lovely staff member, Tayla, help me with my purchase last Sunday.. She was professional, sweet and extremely knowledgeable about the products.
Bought my wife a GOLD ring for her first Mother's Day and after 18 months the ring became yellow it was a white gold ring with a diamond on it and ripped in the middle. They not only have very poor quality jewellery, but also has the worst customer service as they charged to fix the ring and to polish it after 18 months as it was out of the 12 month warranty, even with receipt and proof of purchase I highly reccomend not purchasing nothing there as their jewellery won't last long and don't worth it.
Prouds Robina has looked after me for a number of years, with great prices, stylish jewerlly and friendly staff who make an effort to get to know you and are interestered in you as a person more than just a customer. I have Proud stores closer to where I live, but I make an effortless effort to visit my Robina store for these reasons, 34 years of myself being in the retail industry I know first hand how important it is in knowing how to make a customer feel more than just a customer.
Just went in for a browse, did find something I liked, but couldn't commit to buying it then and there. However, the lady that served us, was kind and patient and was not pushy. Going back in two weeks to buy it.
