Story

Opening our doors over 10 years ago with professional and experienced stylists, Prophecy has grown from strength to strength through the undulating changes of Fitzroy and surrounding suburbs. You will be treated by an award winning array of specialist staff with unique, down-to-earth personalities.

We use only all-natural products such as De Lorenzo & qaba. The relaxed rustic wood and raw brick interior features vintage Italian 1960s furniture and local contemporary art.

I will never go anywhere else. This place is the bomb. They are so lovely, the vibe is rad, the beer is fantastic and there's a fluffy Samoyed who enjoys a pat and cuddle. I religiously see Steph who is such an exceptional stylist and colourist with a very creative and flattering flare. Like I said, I will never ever go anywhere else again. This place is the heaven of hairdressers!

I came in with a vague idea of getting some bangs. Steph was super friendly and gave me a really lovely straight fringe. Later that day, after looking at myself from every angle I decided I wanted a bit of a different style. I called up and she got me in again for a few extra snips. She was really laid back and patient while I bumbled through explaining the look I wanted. Now i'm pleased as punch with my bangin' bangs! Thanks Steph!
