A beautiful trip with friendly staff on the ferry. We even saw a dolphin! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I had trouble purchasing tickets originally as it seems you need to call ahead to make sure the ferry is actually running on any given day, as they don't update the website when certain timed trips have been cancelled. I had to take 2 attempts before actually getting to go on the ferry and shuffle around my holiday plans to accommodate the change in ferry schedule.

we stayed at nelson bay and had a good time on the ferry ride to tea gardens pub you can take alcohol on the ferry and have a drink on the way over

The old Ferry has so many memories for me photos from my childhood adventures and the seats are from the old theatre at Tea Gardens , the ferry is a highlight of our stay we even get a guide when there a just a few passengers! just accept the times and enjoy the adventure!
