We absolutely loved the ferry experience from Ettalong over to Palm Beach. My kids loved sitting up the top and feel the breeze in their faces.

Always an enjoyable ride and great staff. Spotted a few Home & Away celebs on one trip and the kids went crazy (as they do).

Fun way of getting from central coast to northern beaches of Sydney- especially when there are trackworks from Newcastle to Chatswood.

This ferry service is an amazing alternative to getting down to Sydney's Northern Beaches, especially if it's only the northern beaches you're after, than having to navigate the M1 on a regular basis to get to the city. Although not totally foolproof, it's good enough and mostly reliable enough to be a valid alternative to driving. That and you just can't beat the fun of the large swells, so long as you're not prone to sea sickness! Prices are a bit hefty in my personal opinion, so it helps if you have some kind of concession status, but if not I still say it's worth it.. if even for a weekend trip to see some ocean, visit Palm Beach, and catch a bus as far as your adventurous spirit takes you.
