I had a pleasant dinner with this cruise company around sunset. The food and drink were very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only problem was before getting onboard. It was slow and there was a long line of passengers waiting for half an hour in the scorching Sydney sun until they started letting passengers in.

Please note that although this company advertises that it runs ferries between King Street Wharf to White Bay International Cruise Terminal on cruise days, it does not actually provide this service for all international cruises. I am leaving on a Princess Cruise, so not a small cruiseline, and having waited for the updated April timetable (and having already booked accommodation near the King Street Wharf), they confirmed that they only run the service for some cruise days. Do not rely on this service to be operational without phone confirmation.

Deceitful marketing, zero customer service response. Captain Cook Cruises recently offered a 10 ticket promotional deal for their new ferry services from Barangaroo to Manly of which I partook (as a daily commuter from the city to Manly). Their mobile app, on which tickets were contained stated that my tickets were valid until October 4. When I boarded the ferry on the 18-09-2017 I was shocked to see that my tickets were prematurely invalid and I was not permitted to disembark when I requested to despite the ferry still being tied at the wharf. The staff conceited that it was a Captain Cook Cruise error yet I was still forced to buy a ticket for my journey that I did not want. I emailed Captain Cook Cruises about this on the day, and I am yet to receive any response. This leads me to believe that not only are Captain Cook Cruises knowingly deceitful in their marketing, further, that they have no regard for their client satisfaction.

Excellent long lunch day out. The harbour is spectacular and the boat and crew are very attentive.

Large boat, good selection of food for the buffet, service was great. Would recommend- the view of the harbour is beautiful.
