Port Douglas Yacht Club is one of the best places in Port Douglas and is its biggest secret, forget the Marina with its crowds and tourist focussed food/drinks and prices, you have to go to the Yacht Club. We went a few times for lunch and dinner but also we had our wedding reception there and it was amazing. We had it on the lawn with water both sides and the yachts and lights reflecting off the water it was magical. Richard the Manager bent over backwards to ensure that the night went off with out a hitch, the staff were so relaxed and happy and Michael the chef and his team provided fantastic food. Every one of our guests said that this was the best location, most relaxed and best food that they had ever had at a wedding reception. Do your self a favour and just visit the Yacht Club when you visit Port Douglas for lunch or dinner and experience the great honest food, cold beer or good wines and most of all genuinely friendly staff and I firmly believe you will be back.

Hi You have a wonderful yacht club everybody friendlyness was unreal, people really made you feel welcome. Patrick and his staff were fantastic and to be quite honest I wish our club would take a leave out of your book. I will certainly pass the word in my travels what a great club you are. Beautiful location, very relaxing, lovely staff, PHENOMENAL food! Had 2 serves of the Calamari, it was so good. Fresh prawns & pitta bread with dips, fresh & delicious. Spanish mackerel & chips very tasty. The Pavlova was immense & the mango cheesecake delicious. The coconut sorbet, wow. Definite recommendation, will visit again!

Went there for a drink and were invitrd on a sailing cruise by a skipper. This happens every Wednesday. Great people, great menu
