Nice place for a drink and something to eat hired a boat here got eaten alive by midges would have been nice if  boat hire man could have mentioned that these existed we should have done some research I'll admit but sometimes you rely on local knowledge

Mostly souvenir shops and tour operators in the centre mall, with a good cafe (Choo Choo's) and micro-brewery / brew-pub (Hemingways) located on the marina side of the centre, with great views over the marina itself and out to the mountains.

Highly recommended for a coffee, snack or a beer or 2, and just a short walk from the busy Macrossan street.

A great area of Port Douglas, excellent bars and restaurants with wonderful views and you might even see a croc swimming in the inlet.

Really cool marina with a bunch of shops and a brewery. On Wednesdays it has a market out the back that is open all day.

We enjoyed walking around looking at the boats, yachts, cats etc. Great place to sit and relax and enjoy a cold drink.
