Love this bookshop! Is one of my favorite shops in Hamilton. Lovely staff, amazing range of books of all genres, magazines and other gifts puzzles, notebooks, etc.
Super clear and great layout. An incredible collection of fiction and non-fiction titles including a lot of 'hard to find' history books. Also an incredibly friendly staff member. Notably there are lots of literacy themed gifts which are a great choice for anyone gifting for a bookworm.
None of the rubbish, just the good stuff. The only place I've found beautiful Advent calendars .
Great place for book lovers, easy layout and I love popping in for a look. If you want to support independant bookstores 100% check this one out. Casabella lane is always nice to walk through, so great location as well.
Outstanding service from this bookshop. Ive been coming in to get books for a short time for gifts. I rang Poppies on Friday to see if they could send a selection of gifts as i was unable to go to shop to collect or deliver. No problem at all, the box arrived next day, all beautifully gift wrapped and with a card. Thank you so much you made a little girls birthday very special. Appreciate the extra time and effort. 5+ stars
My favourite book shop for new titles, and quirky / fun books for gifts. A "dangerous" place to browse as you're likely to buy something! If they don't have a book in stock they will check with suppliers and order it for you. Lovely knowledgeable friendly service.
Best bookshop in hamilton, great range of always interesting books. Excellent service, knowledgeable proprietor. We book enthusiasts must support local or this great service will be lost.
Lovely staff, great selection of interesting books that you won't find at big bookstore chains. Prices might be slightly higher but don't forget that you get more than just a book and you support a wonderful local store! Bookstore browsing at Poppies is highly addictive and brightens your day.
