I'll be upfront and say I love bookshops but this Dymocks seems extra nice. Or was it simply that I was able to buy all my stocking fillers in one go? I don't know but I will definitely be going there again. The only negative is where it is as I do not like going to Chermside Shopping Centre itself, but if I'm not trying to find a park at Christmas it's fine.
Staff are helpful and lovely but the array of book availability is low and prices aren't reflected with stores nearby.
The staff are always so friendly and helpful. They know so much about the books and can easily recommend something great to read.
Great to have a book store still at Chermside even though we are definitely more of a digital family and use audio books and Kindle most often. It’s not the best location for parking. Staff are quick to offer assistance and to order a book in when they don’t have to book in the shelves.
A wide selection of books across multiple genres and great customer service. My book orders are always handled quickly. I know what to expect each time I visit.
Good books at good prices. A bit noisy next to the food court but a lot of variety.
Love the variety and staff members in this store. Always have limited edition books or hard covers that I can never find anywhere else so if your after a hard book to locate, this is your place.
For some reason dymocks Chermside has rearranged the manga section from alphabetical by title to by author which isn’t the standard for manga in any other dymocks or book store. It’s quite disorienting after being used where the title is. I mentioned it in passing at dymocks in the CBD and an employee said a lot of people have said the same thing.
Found 1 book to fit my needs, unfortunately their craft section is very limited
Every single time I go to dymocks a wonderful worker named Jamie brings a smile to my face and makes the trip memorable. Love the store and the books and will keep going back there everytime probably just because of Jamie :
