If you want to stay in a 5 star motel then this motel is not for you. But if you're someone or a family/group (including pets) on a budget that are laid back in regards to standards (cleanliness/dirty dishes/cobwebs/dust/ants & insects/dirty pool/ripped couches/over used beds/no air conditioning/slow with low water pressured showers etc) & you don't mind being misled by the website (busted guest laundry/no childs trampoline/no in room telephone etc) then Pioneer Motel Palmerston North is just for you!

Disgusting rooms and owners

We stayed the night in the four bedroomed house. Half the funiture was falling apart and a good potion of the furniture was in bad state of repair. Our beds were adequate but we were charged far more than the price quoted. The servicing of the unit was poor no tea bags and there was a used milo cup on of the bedrooms window sills/ But there was a party in the units out the back and there was noise until 4 am. We will not be returning.
