The person who said this was a dirty place was totally incorrect. We have just arrived, have high standards and find the amenities block by our site on Site C area some of the best we have seen. The campgrounds from what we have seen so far look well cared for and the proprietor was very polite. We can’t give it 5 stars as we’ve only been here an hour but reading that other review would have put us off coming here if there had another option and I wanted to get our opinion on line ASAP.

Hi good clean camp site. Walks, shopping cycle trails, river walks, gardens etc all around the camp site. Plenty to do. We stayed 4nights instead of two. Will return

Have been staying here for over 20 years when in town for speedway using cabins and tent sites... This last visit was close to the worst I have encountered, the cabin was dirty - utensils unwashed - no hot water - the list goes on. When we have used the camp kitchen when we tent we have given up on using the hire fridges as they clearly don't keep things cold - there are no dishcloths or dishwash liquid which would help campers to clean up after themselves when using the kitchen.... The BBQ is out of bounds and kept locked at certain times of the year. On the upside the showers are clean. Looking at going elsewhere on our next visit as management don't seem receptive to any comments positive or negative

Stayed here one night for an event in town : Got a cabin with double bed and bunk for 3 people : Entered the cabin at night no lightbulb in first room ( Kitchen) : Went to make cup of tea : Teaspoons sticky : Obviously not washed with dishwash : In morning went to have shower no hot water : Checked hot water cylinder : TURNED OFF Office staff took note but didnt offer much of an apology and no offer of discount : Management / Owners need to start to put checks in place / upgrading the cabins to this century would help :

Great place to stay for back packers and campervan. They offer a facilities like toilets and showers along with kitchen and BBQ. It is located to quite and beautiful river and close to the garden. Book in advance during peak hours to get a guaranteed place.
