Stayed for the weekend! The only positive is, it has a good sized room and comfortable bed! Would have had a fantastic stay if it wasn’t for the horrendous noise due to the renovations going on!!! I was never informed of this and I was hoping for a relaxing stay but was forced to have to spend my days during the weekend out and about! They should stop the construction over the weekend. Had I known that construction men would be walking outside my window on scaffolding I would have stayed somewhere else!! I don’t get away often so was really disappointed!!

Great location, clean comfortable rooms, helpful reception, good breakfast, but would have liked that we were told that alternative cooked breakfast options were available instead of just pointed to the breakfast bar.  Brewed coffee like in other Copthorne's would be nice too.

First time here.nnVisiting from BNE Aust but was born here.nnI’ve red the reviews. After sleeping in a last minute cheap motel in Whanganui the night before I’m keen to say the Superior Room was very comfortable.nnClean, zero allergy scent odor always a bonus.nnBed - deliciously comfortable wow. Shower hot water great. Maybe needs a hand rail fitted on the wall for safe entry and exit from the tub. Or remove the tub and have a massive shower.nnThe bed was missing the coloured coordinate pillows & sash things. They actually make the room more welcoming. But the beds 2 king singles to make one huge king bed together just made our sleeping a lot nicer.nnAir con great. No issues with construction workers or noises.nnRestaurant dinner was busy but service very good. Chicken with Bacon & vegetables YUM.nnYes I would return for a good nights sleep.nnEri & JCnKINGAROYnQld Australia

Great place to stay. We have stayed a few times for weekend trips. The breakfasts and dinners are a good option if you want to eat at the Hotel. The Hotel rooms are going through a refurbishment. We were lucky to stay in one of the completed rooms which had a lovely outlook to the hills. Great location. Excellent service.nPauliney Lynn

My daughter and I stayed at Copthorne Hotel for not quite a week. The reason that we picked this Hotel was because it was in easy walking distance to the centre of town which was a bonus. Also the room that we were allocated was spacious with excellent amenities of which we were appreciative, a room with a view. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness of the staff who went out of their way to be extremely helpful.  All in all I would stay Copthorne Hotel again if I came to Palmerston North again.  I also would recommend this Hotel to any of my friends if ever they were visiting Palmerston North.
