Karma was absolutely outstanding! His hospitality and friendliness made our stay, top notch. We also had a lovely lady help us late on Saturday night 1st of Jan 2025 I can’t remember her name but she She was so kind and made sure everything was perfect for us. There was also a lovely man behind the bar in the front dining room, unfortunately I didn’t catch his name but he gave me some oat milk for my coffee which I appreciated greatly. Thanks for an awesome stay guys! You should all be super proud of yourselves
Very nice and quiet hotel, very central location walking distance to the town centre. plenty of car parks at the back, also back door is very handy and to top it off, Amazing friendly service by Duty Manager Karma, even offered us complimentary continental breakfast which we kindly declined due to not enough time to travel back to Wellington. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Karma for the great service.
We love the Distinction on Cuba street. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfy beds and good aircon. We find the staff amazing and Karma found out it was our daughters birthday and for two years in a row he has given her a very special birthday table and we have felt treated so well. The food is amazing and kitchen staff so accommodating with our requests. Upon calling reception during our stay, our queries were answered quickly. We feel like we are treated like royals during our stay and this is so special. We will definately be back on our next stay in Palmerston North
Not 100% clean bathroom area. Broken computer and significant wait at check in. Breakfast buffet was the standard, opens at 630
The night concierge was absolutely fantastic - incredibly helpful and saved our bacon in a tight spot!nnRoom was great, breakfast was tasty, and coffee was hot and strong.nnThe rest of the staff lived up to the high standards set by the overnight team.nnHighly recommended.
