Ok giving this place 5 stars unapologetically for the fact that their pho will blow your face off your head. It’s absolutely unmatched locally and anyone that has the audacity to charge $16 for something this massive and delicious is a legend in my eyes. I don’t know how to rate the atmosphere fairly. They serve you, are polite, get food out ASAP, and then leave you alone to enjoy the hell out of it. What more could one ask? Is the furniture circa 1980s adult film, yes, but your food will be so good you hardly notice. I also love how they know that if you have a spicy soup like the hot and sour that you inevitably need a box of tissues for yourself and supply them non-judgementally. And you’ll need them because if you like it hot your nose will be running or at the very least, the sheer deliciousness of the meal will bring tears to your eyes.
Love the pho here, we have been here at least 5 times now and they are super consistent.nPortion size’s are on pointnBroth is absolutely delicious with subtle hints of cinnamon I believe.nNoodles always cooked perfectly, I always get extra.nMy wife loves the spring rolls, I love the fried chicken.
Vegan banh mi is pretty decent. Made with a crusty tiger roll. Filled with heaps of tofu - it was heavier than I expected. Fried onion gives it a nice flavour. I think it would taste even better with chilli I forgot to ask for it and the butter/mayo spread if you're vegetarian
We absolutely love Pho Van. Best in the area and very affordable. Highly recommend. The beef pho is delicious and the honey glazed ribs are SO good!! It’s a family run business and they are all so friendly.
The broth has depth and aromatic, the noodles tasted clean and sweet with decent textures , good portions of fresh meats & veggies and decent price at nowadays inflation, a really chilled and friendly family run restaurant
