SunnyBoy Beach Club

A Sydney type beach bar / restaurant complete with schooners instead of pots. The food and service was pretty good considering it was reasonably busy. Nice view overlooking the water with an indoor/outdoor section for hot days. Like a lot of modern places it is a little loud due to music and design of the space; that trendy vibe I guess.

Great place for a relaxed afternoon drink and/or lunch. Great views of the bay out of the picture windows. Friendly staff. Good service.

service was very average. music was loud for a Wednesday night we asked for a biger table because we had 7 at a table made for 4. Told no because we save these seats for walk ins and guess what we were walk ins. Lights kept changing from light to dim. And your bat staff don't have customer service at all. On a positive the food was excellent.

Great food. Seats are bit uncomfortable though. Scalloped pizza has dices pot which slips down while eating. Over all its a good place to catch up with friends and family

A great venue, nice and bright - perfect location. However the food was not as good as it should have been for the price. I ordered mussels and they came with a big dob of butter, mixed with bacon ?..l am not sure what it was mixed with, it was the size of childs fist on top of the pile of mussels. Luckily it was hard, so l was able to remove it.Mussels are usually a low fat food option, but if the butter had melted it would have been gross. My friends ordered Wagu burgers, for the price you could have got better ones at Urban Burger. Unless they lift their game with the food, l would suggest go there for drinks and nibbles not a meal. One friend ordered a coffee and had to wait after he asked for sugar as none came with the coffee or was on the table. The service from ordering to getting the food was quick. The staff were all over us in the beginning but once we had eaten were scarce. They were very busy. I would give them another go in a few months or after summer, when they have settled in.
