Seating inside and out. Came at around 3pm so it wasn’t too busy.nnOrdered half a dozen oysters, southern fried fish and chips and the Atlantic salmon meal. All food came out promptly.nnOysters were fresh but a bit on the funny side - we asked where from Tassie were they from and the server replied Batesman Bay - funny that Batesman Bay is in NSW  a bit of faux pas there but luckily the oysters were great and the vinaigrette accompanied with them was delicious.nnThe southern fried fish and chips were crispy, and the salmon meal was succulent and well cooked.nnSalad was a refreshing touch and the chips were good as expected.nnWould love to come try to come back and try other menus items.

Had such an incredible Mother’s Day experience at Tommy Ruff Fishbar. We were lucky enough to enjoy the Mama’s Boy Seafood Platter, Mussel Pot, and Seafood Chowder. Every dish was exceptionally fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious. You could really taste the quality of the seafood in every bite.nnA huge thank you to Kosta for making my parents feel so genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hospitality was outstanding and really made the experience feel special.nnWe had a very last-minute booking request for Mother’s Day and initially thought we had missed out as they were fully booked. However, Marissa kindly reassured me over the phone that she would place us on the waitlist, and true to her word, I got a call the very next day when a table became available after a cancellation. So appreciative of the effort and care.nnThe complimentary prosecco for Mother’s Day was also such a lovely touch and made the celebration even more memorable.nnFeeling very lucky and thankful for such a warm and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic atmosphere and excellent service! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really liked that they offer daily chef specials, and the portion sizes were generous. Prices are competitive, and there’s a great variety of fish dishes, from soups to grilled and fried options. They also serve alcoholic drinks, which makes it a perfect spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a meal with family. Highly recommend!

Always a favourite spot in Mordialloc! The seafood is fresh, crispy, and cooked to perfection every time. Love their fish tacos and the classic fish & chips — always full of flavour without being greasy. The atmosphere is casual and beachy, with super friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Great place for a relaxed lunch or dinner with family and friends. Highly recommend if you’re after quality seafood with good vibes!
