YOMG in Mordialloc has a really nice vibe and the service was quick and decent. Unfortunately, the burgers didn’t quite hit the mark. We tried 4 different ones and all of them were quite dry and lacked flavour — seemed like the meat might’ve been overcooked. The chilli cheese fries were definitely the highlight though, really good! Overall, great atmosphere and service, but the burgers could use some improvement.
I take my grand children out regularly on a Saturday. They love going to the park in Mordialioc and then to get some frozen yoghurt from YOMG before catching the train home. They love all of the toppings. We often finish with sharing hot chips together.
Nice, quick and easy! Their froyo and topping selection, and price is good, compared to other places.nTheir Nacho fries is nice, and price is reasonable as well.
My second visit after some time and regardless of how busy this place was, it was still just as flawless in every way.nnThis was truly a surprise hit! nThe burger Bergerk was delicious!! The fries were fresh and super well made like the burger. Really really enjoyed it. nnThe staff were all a young crew, but wow, I was fascinated by how smooth and well they ran the entire place. The kitchen hands all masked and gloved up and working like precision clockwork teamwork, the waiter staff welcoming on entry and super polite on exit. It blew my mind. This team is on point.
Still thinking about the fried chicken burger I had at in Melbourne. Easily one of the best chicken burgers I’ve ever eaten. Crispy, juicy, packed with flavour and one of those meals where you instantly start planning your next visit halfway through eating it.nnThe menu selection was dangerous too — everything coming out of the kitchen looked unreal and made me want to order way more than I should have. The Hokey Pokey shake was next level as well. Thick, sweet, loaded with texture and actually tasted premium instead of watered down like most places.nnAwesome vibe, great food and one of those spots you leave wishing you lived closer so you could keep going back. Melbourne definitely knows how to do burgers.
