What a place! The Bridge Hotel in Mordialloc is an amazing venue! Where to begin...nnThe venue itself is huge, definitely allowing for those interested in functions. They have large bars, with a wide array of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The atmosphere is very modern, and you can even get a lookout to the water!nnDRINKS:n- Peach Cosmopolitan - Something very different, but was actually very nicen- Long Island iced teannThe food is also very good. We dined in at the Bistro section, here's what we got:nnSTARTERS:n- Pecking Duck Spring Rolls - Very nice and flavorfulnnMAINS:n- Calamari Salad - Very fresh, calamari was perfectly seasonedn- Steak Burger - Great burger, wasn't anything too special however. But it was still very nice.nnDESSERT:n- Warm Sticky Date Pudding - AMAZING!! Love Sticky Date and this was great.nnOverall food and drinks were great. Probably one of the better pubs out there if you're willing to drive a bit further and looking for something outside of Melbourne. Service was prompt, quick and overall great. Will be bringing back family and friends next time!!
Good location and good service, however the food prices are insane considering the portion sizes… Ordered the flathead tails for $45 and what I got what honestly smaller than most kids meals!!! 3 tiny pieces of fish and a small handful of chips… Incredibly disappointing as other places in Mordialloc offer better portion sizes for MUCH LESS cost. Will not eat here again. I’ll just save my money…
Tayler was the most welcoming and ‘inclusive’ host that we have ever come across. She welcomed us 1 in a wheelchair as if we were the most important people in the room and that my sister’s wheelchair didn’t even exist…just brilliant. What a woman. The setting out on the terrace under the Norfolk Pines overlooking the pretty little marina was just perfect and shaded on a warm sunny day. The menu was extensive, and the meals were delicious.nTable service by a lovely waitress meant there was no queueing up. It was just a perfect place. We are new locals and will be repeat visitors.
A Waterfront Gem: 5-Star Experience:nThe Bridge Hotel Mordialloc is hands-down one of the best spots in the bay area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is electric yet welcoming. We sat on the Bistro Deck, and the views of Mordialloc Creek at sunset were absolutely stunning, the perfect backdrop for a relaxed late lunch.nThe food was a highlight; the seafood platter was incredibly fresh, and the wood-fired pizzas had that perfect crispy crust. What truly elevated our visit was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Whether you're after a sophisticated meal or a casual drink by the water, this place delivers 5-star quality every time. Highly recommended!
Dined here for lunch at 12pm.nnWe were offered a table outside the balcony and view was fantastic with cool sea breeze.nnWe were also given a kid activity pack, which was super considerate. Love it the attention to detail!nWaitstaff kept coming to check if we needed anything and made sure we had a good time.nnFood was your standard pub food.nnWe will be back!
