Was walking past this place after shopping at Coles one day, was hungry, so walked in and asked for takeaway rice paper rolls. They made them fresh for me, and the 10 minute wait was worth it. The rolls were really good! The staff were also very friendly and helpful. This is a pleasant place for a quick bite after shopping. I haven't had a sit down meal there but have been told the food is good - give them a try if you're in the area.
We were looking forward to trying this place having passed it several times and unfortunately we were very disappointed. Firstly in all fairness, their rice paper rolls were lovely and was accompanied by a nice sauce. We live 5 mins away and our take away was not even close to being warm upon arriving home. My pork belly looked like it had been sitting in liquid since day dot, there was a vegetable in the salad that looked really old and 'soggy' and then we found two hairs in our rice. Four strikes, definitely won't return
Really average. Bones in sweet and sour pork I didn't expect, no give away either with it being covered in batter. Wasn't just one either. Was also bones in rice paper rolls. Not exactly sure what we paid for, but it definitely wasn't worth what we spent.
I had dinner with my mother here on a Friday night at about 6pm, it was quiet only us and another family eating in it seemed to be more popular for takeaways. I had the seafood laksa which was nice and the flavor was there, but not much seafood in the dish, 2 pieces of prawns, some fish, one piece of calamari and the rest was noodles and some Bok Choi. My mother had the rice paper rolls and she said she couldn’t eat them as they were so tough and chewy. No one came over to see if we enjoyed our meals or to see if we needed anything else, the young man on the counter and an older man were sitting on their phones at the front the whole time. When I went to pay for the bill the older man told me the price straight away and didn’t break it down so I don’t know if they over charged me or not. There was another lady who must have been a cook who was peeping over his shoulder to see what he charged me. Wasn’t a nice feeling, I wouldn’t come back here, and won’t recommend anyone I know to try this place.
Was looking forward to a nice family meal but was met with disaster. Terrible manners and customer service ruined the atmosphere and appetite of all people in the restaurant. One family even got up, paid for what was eaten, and left. The boss had little input, and the employees failed to care about the concerns of the customers. Terrible.
Great Pho and curry puffs. Picked up takeaway from here a few times and haven't been disappointed. Generous portions too.
Poor customer service, prices charged not same as "old" menu that was on display. Quail tasted odd. Won't be coming back
New owners but service and staff were terrible. Food was reasonably priced and good for Vietnamese.
Hanoi Pho is a great place to eat fresh food from Vietnam.
Wonderful food, especially pho - will be visiting again!
