One of the only good fish and chip places I've eaten from since moving to Queensland 3 years ago. To my great shock the chips and potato cakes were crispy on the outside without being saturated but soft on the inside and clearly cooked in oil that was both clean and the correct temperature. The whiting was conveniently sized, crumbed well and generously portioned. This shop has restored my faith in Queensland's ability to cook fish and chips, which is nice.

Best chips in Western Brisbane! Excellent quality fish and calamari, always fresh. Hamburgers are pretty ok. A little bit pricey, but worth it for the chips and calamari.

We've been coming here for years and it is consistently excellent. The fish and calamari are fresh and cooked perfectly. The chips are nice and crispy. The salads are nice too.

We have been going to StarFish for years and always been impressed with the service and food. However tonight my husband phoned to order his food and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. He arrived after 5 minutes and was handed the food. Jumped in his car and took a chip to eat only to discover it was cold. He spat it out and took it back inside. The food was taken from him and handed back to him 1 minute later having been reheated in the microwave. He demanded his money back or a new order to be made up both of which he was refused. We will not be going back ever again and we will be taking this further. So disappointed �
