I just want to thank the Brisbane Philippine Consulate for providing us with a super short notice and last minute tourist visa application request. They were able to not only accommodate us in our request but also responded quickly to our questions and requests for information. Many thanks again for doing such a great job!

I went there yesterday,my appointment was 1:40pm but got there earlier so the lady said to me,just wait a moment,and after a while they asked me to go inside,the 5 ladies inside the office was very helpful,and one of them is from where i am from back home in Phippines,they made me feel so comfortable,understand now why they only open once a week as they are all volunteers no pay,they were there tryin to help people like me not to travel far to Canberra for some couple of documents,and it really saved my time for not travelling so far,pus i don't need to wait for 3 -4 days to get the papers as it happened so quick,in 15 mins i got them!! With my situation,i can say they are doing their best to help people,so let's not throw some awful words to them without knowing what's behind of everything,maybe i guess if you're polite enough you'll get assisted nicely. Be kind to one another.

Sorry for that, Just had some really bad experience with the embassy , last year had to travel all the way to Sydney just to get partner a renewal. Now How would one go about getting Philippine passports for three children under 2? I say almost impossible do get that done in Brisbane.. Also is it true that you have a mobile passport thing running in Jan? I thought it was sep & fancy not being able to register your children's birth with the Philippines immigration and census just because you are not married, even after supplying birth certs.

Hard to describe my experience with this consulate, as they're only open 1 day per week! Unbelievable in this day & age. Very poor.
