This is the real deal. There's a good reason why I come here all the time, and is the authenticity of the food. The laksa Assam and Malaysian variants are large and very filling, unlike other restaurants that are stingy with the portion size. The flavour is spot on and very rich. The soup is not watered down at all. Basically everything in the menu is delicious. Highly recommend this place.
We came here for early dinner as a group of four people on a Friday. We got a table inside. The place was cozy but welcoming. We ordered an entree of Satay Chicken Skewers. They were delicious. Then we had main dishes of Fried Fish in Nyonya Sauce, Sizzling Black Pepper Beef, and Combination Hor Fun Noodles. They were all delicious. We shared a bowl of Steamed Rice and Roti Canai with Curry Sauce. For dessert, we ate Ais Kacang, which is shaved ice with red beans and sweets. The staff were attentive and nice. The bill ended up being quite affordable. This was surprising as we were very full. They accept debit and credit cards. We had a really good meal and will be back to try other dishes. We look forward to our next visit as there are many dishes on the menu. We recommend this restaurant. Thanks.
had a great feed of authentic Malay food here again! Rendang Beef and fluffy roti's Fried noodles, Hianan chicken and fish fellers with greens wonderful milk tea too!
The best malay/Indonesian food I've had i Sydney. Most of dishes I've tried were good. Beef rendang is the best! Sometimes they seem to be short of staffs during busy time so we needed to wait for a long time
Great authentic Malaysian food for decent prices. I got the Penang Assam Noodle soup for $12.90. Yum. The milo chocolate pastry though was just okay.
A Malaysian eatery in George Street Chinatown Sydney. Basic setup however it's all about the food and they do a good job with it. As almost as good as in Malaysia. Don't miss their Assam Laksa and Nasi Lemak.
Lovely little melasian restaurant that has a hidden away downstairs eating section that you wouldn't know about from the street. I had the soft shell crab dish there and it's come the closest to the one I tried in Malaysia so far. Service was quick and friendly. Well worth a try.
This place offers variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Large portion dishes are great for sharing. A true Malaysian dining experience.
Char Kway Teow - wok fried noodles, seafood, Chinese sausage and veg makes for a really tasty, filling lunch! Petaling Street offers an extensive hawker style menu, with efficient and friendly service. One of my favorites when I’m working on that end of Central.
I had a good breakfast - soft drumstick chicken rice for 15MYR. The serving is actually a lot for a single person who eats not too much. There are more options here and lots of street food to try. I was not able to check out the stores since I arrived way too early but I heard prices are cheap here.
