So good to have a bowl of hot chicken and prawn hor fun. The soup taste good, good portion. Although is long cue, but ordering is fast and organised. But seats are limited, try to come earlier during the lunch time.
After hearing alot about this Malaysian restaurant and finally we can try it out. We ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice & Nasi Lemak: Beef Rendang. Surprisingly, the meal was great with good portions and price. The Chicken was tender and not dry which is good plus the sauce is so yummy. The Nasi Lemak was good and the flavour is perfect. Good place to eat authentic Malaysian in Town Hall and I highly recommend.
Ordered a nasi goreng with a bit of spice. Flavour was pretty decent, and on par with expectations but a bit too oily overall. Portions were disappointing for the price. The wait time was in excess of 15 mins during lunch. This really dropped the score, as there are better meal options for a more competitive price, portion, and turnaround time.
This was supposed to my favourite place for lunch in CBD. Unfortunately, quality and portion size have gone down significantly in last few occasions. I have ordered curry chicken and 2 Roties and I got this. Only half cup of curry chicken and burnt Roties... vegetarian laksa, last time was bad as well and lack of veggies... Owners need to act soon or they will loose loyal customers like me.
I ordered the chicken laksa with extra vegetables and was disappointed at the bland soup base. Despite the colour, it was not creamy or sweet, nor salty or chilli. Unfortunately, there was also a long wait ~25 minutes for the laksa at Friday lunchtime, arriving at around 1.30pm. I would not order laksa from here again as it is not worth the money or time.
Nice Malaysian street food, nasi lemak and kwetiaw siram... So tasty........ Not long waiting, not expensive for the food in the big city..... Clean restaurant.....good service....
The food is delicioso, but the portion is not that much. The picture taken is nasi goreng ayam and its bloody delicious and tastes like Malaysia
Been here at Ipoh town a couple of times over the past years. They are usually packed during lunch hours. The food is nice and very reasonably priced not expensive and their hainanese chicken rice are the best dishes here. Very fragrance chicken rice and poached chicken is tender and tasty with the sauce. Would highly recommend this dishes if you eat here.
Ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice with the breast option there is a leg option. Decent enough for the price in town, got very busy not long after 12pm and very quickly became a lot noisier inside. With a canteen type atmosphere, because they get busy and lots of people want a table, it felt a bit awkward when someone was standing over us waiting for us to finish so they could take our table. If you want a more relaxing meal, go before 12pm!
Not sure what the fuss is about this place but the food was not even good Being a Malaysian, there are better Malaysian-tasting ones in Sydney. Ordered the Wan Tan Hor which was soooo salty and had so little meat and vegetables but so much noodles. And Nasi Lemak was not fragrant and chilli was so so. And the Char Kway Tiao was so oily and tasted more like a Pad Thai. In addition, the floors were not mopped and smelled so bad. Cleaning standards were not good. Was very disappointing.
