Taken many cars here and I'd say overall good service across all of them. Unsure how they didn't pick up the defective front lower control arm bushes that was the cause of my front end shake that I mentioned. After some research I've found it's a common fault with the BA-BF.
This is a good news story thanks to Zach at Pedders, Osborne Park. I've had quite a bit of work done by Pedders in Osborne Park, but my last repair only just went the distance. I had the front-wheel bearings and hubs replaced on my Landcruiser 80 Series, only to see one bearing collapse on one side and an oil leak on the other side. They both failed at 42,000km and 15 months, which is 2000 km past the warranty period for kilometres driven, but within the 2-year time frame. Zack came to the party with free fitting, if I was happy to pay for parts. Zack also included a free inspection and adjustment, if needed, after 5000 km, to make sure everything was travelling as it should. It's not often that a business will happily go beyond the warranty period, what really helped was that we were happy to meet half way to get me back on the road. You can't really expect much more than that. Thanks, Zach, I'll definitely be back, knowing that I'll be treated fairly.
Pieter Lombard and his team are the best. I called several other places prior and none of them could help me until I phoned Pedders in Osborne Park. Made an appointment on the same day. Nothing was too difficult or too much, the staff are friendly and very helpful. I was treated with respect and was given an informed report on the issues my 4x4 had together with a quote for the work required. I have no hesitation recommending this business. You will get a fair deal.
I brought my car in thinking I needed new pads and rotors. They had a look and called me back saying that the brakes were still in good condition and did not require replacement or servicing. Really appreciated the honesty here as most businesses probably would have replaced my brakes unnecessarily and taken my money. This is really great service. Trust and honesty are very important to consumers. Thanks for looking after me Pieter and team.

Got my suspension and steering upgraded on my 1976 HX statesman caprice and the boys there did an awesome job. A big shout out to Andy great customer service good to see this is still around. I would definitely recommend Pedder Osborne park
So I took my 80 series in the day before I left for half a lap of the country. Did the Gibb River road and the great Central road. 10,000kms total and haven't had an issue with the suspension. Very happy with the quality, labour cost and times. The service was amazing.
AVOID!! I will start by saying they were very friendly and had good customer service, but you don’t visit a mechanic for a nice chat…. I got the suspension and steering test done, they came back and said I needed strut covers and a sway bar so I said do whatever needs doing… couple months later was still having the same problem, and it was getting increasingly bad. Took the car to another mechanic and they said I needed the bushes done and showed me how bad they were… after getting this repair done the car was perfect! So that prompted me to go through my receipts from the last few months, just to see what had been done to date…. I noticed on the report I got from Pedders the bushes failed and are in red, but yet no mention of this! Then I realised I had already replaced the strut covers 3 months earlier and Pedders had replaced them again… Absolute joke, incompetence of the highest degree! Learnt a very expensive lesson from these guys.
