Worst real Estate to deal with. Grace Beaumont is the most unprofessional person that works their she is the most rudest person I have ever met she needs to be fired. They take months and months to repair faults in the house. Park trent rentals advertises houses that are not in working order to live in. This realestate sure looks like they have a bad reputation by the reviews on this page. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS REAL ESTATE!

DO NOT RENT OF THIS AGENT Home owners and agent put lives at risk had a fire alarm smoke detector that had not been checked in 2 years it took 6 months for an electrician to fix the smoke alarms Was promised the homeowner would pay the first water bill - Never happened I was issued with an invoice Ensuite bathroom was un-usable for 6 months after numerous emails for the agent to fix still it took 6 months , toilet seat was broken shower was unusable in ensuite Dishwasher not working at all & never got fixed Homeowner has dodgied up a window that can't open in the living area Front door key hole was not screwed on to the door properly It is a duties of care for a real estate and homes owner to have smoke detectors checked every 12 months or before a new Tennant rents

Get Property Management company, they go out of their way to look after you. They are also happy to sit down with you and explain your contract. Happy to do business with them

They are just professional property spruikers. They have been in trouble previously for not disclosing the commissions they received from sales (before they changed business names to Park Trent), and for giving unlicensed financial advice. My wife and I met with someone once and they had no regard for anything we said, they simply wanted to push one of their stock on us to make a sale. Couldn't suggest more strongly that you steer clear of them.

One real estate agency you would not like to rent with for sure. Wonder how owners of houses deal with them! In summary – if the house they had to offer was the last house available in the entire market – I would prefer being homeless than rent with them! I do not wish to openly mention names of people who work here, as on a personal note, I would not like to spoil their career either with Park Trent or anyone else in future. Property manager I had quit, wonder if she did her paperwork right! No one bothers responding to e-mails, no one responds back to calls on mobile phones, no courtesy to ring back on voicemail, no one bothers to respond to messages, if LUCKILY someone BOTHERS to answer the landline, the person answering calls is always rude! You can’t get through to speaking to the person in charge – he/she is either out for inspection, or on a sick-leave or on some other type of leave. Representative who came down for inspection – did not bother addressing issues we had. Sent numerous e-mails in relation to issues I had with property I rented, neither the property manager has the courtesy to respond nor the vacate inspector! Till date, I haven’t had either of them address my concerns. Requested numerous times to provide exit inspection time, as I was not living in the town anymore, got informed about the exit inspection 30 min prior to inspection time! Their preferred agencies for pest-control, carpet cleaning, etc. are absolute rip-offs too! Absolutely horrendous bill received from their pest-control agency for a tiny sized unit! In my particular case, I got told at exit inspection, they found some issues with cleaning, acceptable – but did not get any choice of whom I could use to get this cleaning done, nor was I given any option – they directly ended up sending their own preferred cleaning agent – without my consent and without any quotes provided. They also made a claim on entire bond – which has yet not been refunded – and the reason why they claimed the entire bond is for water charges and cleaning fees. Water charges were paid off while this was done. The matter now resides with RTA for dispute resolution. This has been my experience with them and with their employees at Gold Coast office. I am not aware of how the other offices are. Turns out when I do a bit detailed search on this group, they are over the news for fair few wrong reasons on different aspects. The reviews on Google for their real estate agency don’t speak great about them either. Given an option, I would give them a negative 5 Star for their operations at Gold Coast office as they excel at being terrible! Learning Taken: WHATEVER HAPPENS, don’t trust their words – neither verbal or even if they give it out to you in writing.
