Story

Paradise Indian Restaurant started operating in February 2001 at the scenic Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre.

The Paradise Indian Restaurant has been awarded the 2005 Golden Plate award as the overall winner in the Restaurant category from the City of Monash. They have also been included in the prestigious Good Food Guide and cheap eats published by the “Age”. It is also listed in the Foodies guide of Melbourne. The Herald Sun has graded the Paradise Indian Restaurant as one of the best five take-aways in Melbourne.

Paradise Indian Restaurant specialises in catering from 80 - 1000 people at any venue of your choice. We can tailor the menu to suit your requirements.
We have extensive experience in catering for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc.
We are one of the preferred caterers for Indian cuisine at the antlantic group reception center at docklands.

One of the very best Indian cuisines in town. The prices are very reasonable and food is great. The ambience is calming except on Saturdays when you can dance your heels away if you wish to do so. The service is personal and professional. Recommend by a food critic.

Despite food being a bit pricey, the value is worth for the quality. Every dish I had was delicious. Recommend people to give the place a go, our family enjoyed it. The owner is really friendly. Only suggestion is to have more lighting in the place.

I ordered the Chicken Chettinad from this place which cost $20 for take away. Upon receipt of the curry I was taken back by the miniature portion I was presented with. When I tasted the curry it was a bit lack lustre in flavour, basically a flacid curry with no spice, loaded with coconut cream. This was a rather disappointing experience as I had high hopes and the miniature portions based on the price compounded my disappointment. Next time I will have to venture in to Clayton if I experience a hankering for an Indian curry but never again Paradise in Wheelers Hill.
