I’m not sure whether or not I went to the same cinema as everyone that’s reviewed but I had a less than average experience at the Palace cinemas.nnFirstly, the evening we went there were barely any staff on the floor. My husband and I were really confused if anyone was going to see our tickets. We went from the front door to the cinema door without anyone stopping us or checking our tickets.nnThen, when we entered the cinema it was pitch black even although the session hadn’t started yet, so when we shined our phone lights to find our seats we could see the massive and disgusting stains all over the seats! Very dirty cinema and very minimal customer service.nnFinally during the film no staff came in to check on us and so the loud couple up the back of the cinema continued to laugh and talk during the whole movie.nnIf I didnt notice the staff member in the beginning cleaning the bar I really wouldn’t have thought any staff were in this cinema.nnOverall really disappointed at this business and not worth the money. Too expensive and lacking good service to its customers.
Had high hopes for this cinema but was pretty disappointed. Next to no staff around. No one checks your tickets. The seats are incredibly uncomfortable with no cupholders? So you’re constantly risking knocking your drink off the tiny platform in between the seats. The cinemas are pretty small and tiny screens so if you’re on the edge it’s not great. Friday night and the main bar is shut by 8pm. I don’t know that I’d rush back here.
Pros: Cheap price for tickets, comfortable seats, good service.nCons: In room/salon 2 there was a big dead pixel in the middle of the screen that was distracting throughout the entire movie. Not enough street parking, however there's a Wilson underground parking.
Recently discovered this theatre and it has become my favourite. It’s neat and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and yes, they serve good coffee .
Civilised multiplex featuring ever growing string of annual film festivals as well as better American popular films . Usually clean. Good bar with by-the-glass wine options. A few good eateries nearby. Booking via the net for busier sessions is a wise tactic. Scarce parking in New Acton except on Sundays. Nisi basement parking difficult, expensive & often full. Walking, cycling or escooting are sensible alternatives to this area. Light Rail now being built on London Circuit will help in the future.
