Today I am at Hoyts to see my favourite movie the James Bond , No Time To Day, loved it, a good action movie. The sitting is nice can lift your legs up. Inside is nice and cool. Winter time the theatre is nice and warm. Tonight we see, Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness. Some good action in the film . We get all our popcorn and cold drinks, with some snacks . Come and see some movies. After go shopping, or to Cafe shop .
Alot of self serve options to get the food and drinks you want, reasonably clean, quiet busy at the time. Recliners are pretty comfortable. I found this cinema is more well staffed than others which is good.
The cinemas itself is nice, seats are comfy. Reason for my bad review is we have now waited 17 full minutes after the movie is supposed to start watching ads. Secondly, the bathrooms are disgusting! There is never any soap, toilet paper or paper towel. Bit of a disgrace.
I have to say I'm getting more disappointed with the "movie" experience. The popcorn is cold and not fresh. The chairs were sticky and when reclined at a weird angle. And the sound quality is quite poor and unexpected. It sounded like it was old, overused, and pushed past its limits a few too many times. Voices were quiet, and the loudness of action scenes was very out of proportion. It's not a Premium service, and I can start to see why production companies are headed to "early release" with titles as to home streaming services as most home systems are way better. If this is the standard for a premium product. I give it 3 more years without a significant upgrade and then it's done
Do not book here EVER. They charge extra fees just for the convenience of having you book and pay in advance. Australia must resist this nonsense and stand up for themselves. Do not allow companies to rob the population blind. Vote with your wallet.
Don't buy a ticket at the counter! I went to the cinema with my 2 kids and only realised after paying that they charged us individually instead of as a family. An extra $16 I'll never get back. What does this say for customer service when you should avoid using staff at all costs and do it yourself.
Did not enjoy. Self serve drinks meaning kids touching stuff and putting it back and lids all over the place. Floor filthy with pop corn and drink spillage. Got to the counter and was told that I had to pay $1 extra each for the 3d glasses. And turns out the glasses were all scratched and used. Bathrooms were running out of soap. Also very expensive. Tickets for one adult one student was like $60.
It wasn't too different from a normal cinema experience but the quality of the chairs, food and movie was quite good. I have no complaints
One of a coolest cinemas in Belco.
Vast improvements in this cinema since I was last there. Cleaning of the seats could have been better a lot of popcorn in the seat cushions from previous screening
