I recently hiked the Overland track in very wintery conditions my first multi day hike at the age of 62. I was unsure of the gear I would need but felt reassured by the advise I received from the experienced staff at Outsports. They advised me about the pack, tent, sleeping bag and mat I would need. The gear performed really well and the process of hiring went smoothly. Thanks to the staff at Outsports for helping to make this hike a great challenge!!
Thankyou for your wonderful service and advice. I highly recommend hiring an extreme sleeping bag as it was perfect for the school camp at Mt Stirling. Cold Nights of -5 and staying warm made all the difference.
Love the team at Outsports! We've been hiring boots, packs, sleeping bags etc for school trips for the past couple of years. Whether heading off to the heat of the NT or chilly countryside in VIC during winter, we always get the best advice and the right gear. And the kids tell me the boots are super comfy, sturdy and waterproof! Thanks team.
Very reasonable price for gear hire. Will be great if all staff are able to advise on gear hire. I was recommended a 3.2kg tent even though I had said that I was doing GOW. Luckily I rung back a week later and a lady helped me to change my hire to ultralight tent. However the 4 season tent appeared to be 3 season quality.

Organising my hire was super simple and quick. I love the fact the website has all their options with dates and availabilities so I could stare at it while working out which sleeping bag and backpack would be best for my hike. This was also confirmed after a quick chat with staff following up on my hire request. The gear was in good condition and pick up and return was easy and efficient.
