Once told that it is best to find a hairstylist from the same ethnicity as they would best understand your hair type, I was reluctant to try the salons in Sydney since moving here 3 years ago. However, after scrolling the pages of social media (with positive reviews of the salon) and months of hesitation, I decided to make an appointment with Paloma for cut and Athena for colour. They never fail to come up with ideas that suit my wash-and-go lifestyle and would always take time in listening to what I like and dislike about my hair. The other staff members of the salon are also extremely amiable and nice, creating a down-to-earth yet professional vibe for the salon.

The best hair cut ever! I have been to so many salons and finally have found a salon that knows how to cut mid length to long hair! Thank you again I am so happy!

I have been visiting Paloma and her team at Oscar Oscar Paddington since 8 years. I typically let Paloma suggest what suits me best and have never been disappointed. The team has a very professional, friendly and homely approach which makes you relax into your chair. In particular I love the oil massage treatment at the start of the appointment which helps me escape my busy schedule. Big thanks to all my great haircuts and colours! Jess x

This is my second visit and I always wonder what took me so long to find this gem! The salon is relaxed, modern and professional. I was greeted with a smile from reception all the way to the end of the hair service. The massages and oil treatment really helped me to relax and enjoy the experience. My hairdresser, Paloma is beautiful and amazing! I waited for 2 months to get a space with her and it was totally worth it! She sat down with a consultation, and had a very strong opinion on what looks good on me (which is awesome because she basically designed the hair that suit my face rather just copy it off a photo). And this is the first time my hair looks amazing without any styling! Because she said she cut it the way my hair wants to grow! So for a mother of 2 young boys, it suits my lifestyle perfectly and still have amazing hair! Also, I really appreciate them focusing not just making my hair cut looks amazing, but also the health of my hair. Paloma made sure each time my hair is healthy and glowy when I left the shop and when I had some scalp issue, she picked it up immediately and suggested the appropriate product. I will definitely be back and already prebook all my appointments with her. Great service and hairdressers ♥️
