I love this bookstore. Me and my beautiful 4 children come here almost every other day. I strongly recommend a visit there as it is one of the gems of double bay. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I really appreciate the fact that people still believe in the power and entertainment books can give you. I went earlier today and my youngest, Matilda, had such a good time buying books there that I knew I had to leave a lovely review. Stay off the kindles and take a trip to this bookshop and pick up a real book. Thank you for giving me such a fun and entertaining time shopping at your bookstore.

I have been frequenting Oscar and Friends, Double Bay for a zillion years and it is always a treat! The staff are true book lovers, and they are always ready to provide a recommendation for an individual wanting a book but not quite certain what to purchase  Me...I want everything! :- Definitely one of my favourite shops in Sydney! As a long time customer, I was absolutely appalled at the attitude of the staff in the shop today.  They obviously don't want customers nor are customers valued.  Wonder if this is yet another business in Double Bay that will cease operating.  Shop elsewhere!!

Stopped by quickly to pick up something to read while in Sydney. Pleasant staff, and a decent selection, a bit pricy, but thats to be expected.
