QBD Books Hurstville

They really should try to extend the store because I'd rather go in store to buy a book I want rather than going online to other websites to buy books. I would like to support bookstore than big company brands. However, you can order a novel to your nearest QBD which is something I like but it's always $19.99. The man with brunette hair and curly hair I think was VERY VERY friendly and helpful.

Very fantastic book store. Books of all genre and for all age group. The people working here are awesome and have good knowledge of books and author as well. If you are a bookworm you will find this store appealing.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE 4.1 RATING THEY DESERVE A 0. I highly suspect many of these positive reviews are planted, not only because my personal experience has never been anywhere near something as having had "great" or "professional" service, but also because at least one reviewer seems to believe the bookstore has "great Persian food". In my experience a good trip to the QBD ends with the largely incompetent staff having totally ignored me, even though I was usually their only customer. A bad trip to the QBD involves staff having no ability to point out any books in the disorganized stacks at the front, or on the equally randomized shelves or find/recommend any titles for you whatsoever. I could forgive most of this as it is a 'discount' bookstore whose purpose is to eschew the bells and whistles of a Dymocks in favor of lower prices BUT the prices are exorbitant! $20 for two 10-page kids activity books?! And if you're looking for any specific title from a series, don't bother, most likely they have book 1 and 4 only or issues 3, 7 and 9 in stock. Of course the surly staff will offer to order the book you want, but why would you? Find it on Ebay or Amazon and avoid the QBD mark-up. Why pay extra to support rude staff workers? Just save yourself the pain and the money head online instead. On the plus side: "Great persian food and service. Thanks [for nothing] guys."

Great selection of books, location and service.

Very friendly staff, and nice collection for the size of the store not very big. They seem to get me books relatively quickly, and would have the popular new book everyone is talking about. They recently added some nice science kits for kids if yours are into that. I wish the store was a bit bigger though. I guess it's satisfying current demand though. Also for kids some books would be sold at Big W for $8 and at QBD for $14. A bit interesting.

A tightly packed store with most of the popular titles on offer. If you're looking for something specific, you may not find it, but if you're looking for inspiration for your next reading adventure, there's hundreds to choose from. As this store is located in Westfield shopping centre, the parking can be difficult at peak times. Wheelchair access is not advisable as the aisles are too narrow.

They always have a great selection of all books , puzzles and many other gifts . Staff are always friendly and very helpful if they don't have what you are after only to please to order in for you . Have been here many times and would definitely return
