Easy to deal with, charged less than they quoted for the service and sent a follow up text to check that all was well. Would definitely use again if in the area.

Took my vehicle to this service centre on the recommendation of a friend for a RWC. The staff were friendly and helpful upon meeting them, and after testing the vehicle, failed its roadworthy test based on a around 8 things they deemed unroadworthy. The list seemed quite thorough, but fair enough I thought and a couple of the items were questionable, so took the vehicle to another workshop for a second opinion. They stated that the majority were correct, but 2 of the items actually would pass roadworthy, that being the tyres and front brakes. Even though Ormond Tyre & Service Centre stated the front brake rotors and tyres were stated to be unroadworthy, upon further inspection, was found that the front brake rotors were 21.5mm, new rotor thickness is 22mm, min rotor thickness is 20.4. Tyres were also noted as unroadworthy, and when checked, according to Vicroads Roadworthy Requirements online states: "All tyres fitted to the road vehicle, must be of a type constructed for normal road use and must have minimum tread depth of 1.5mm at any point on the tread normally in contact with the road surface other than the tread wear indicators. Where tread wear indicators are provided the tread must not be worn to the extent that any tread wear indicator comes in contact with the road surface” These tyres had between 3.8mm - 4.1mm of tread depth remaining, and were not even close to the tread-wear indicators. After all the other items were completed, I returned the car back to the workshop to sign off on it, and stated that all items were completed, except the tyres and front brake rotors, as they were indeed, not unroadworthy. Adam, who conducted the inspection, stated that in 'his opinion' they these items were unroadworthy and would not pass the vehicle unless they were changed, even though they clearly fall within the guidelines set out by Vicroads themselves and comfortably so even taking into account 30 days of use. I outlined this to him repeatedly with actual measurements and numbers but he continued to state that even through that might be what the Vicroads website might state, 'in his opinion' they are not roadworthy, and wouldn't pass the car. So basically it is what ever he feels like on the day, as to what goes, rather than the rules and regulations he is meant to adhere to, from Vicroads themselves. As a result, I will be forced to take my car to another certified workshop, to get my certificate, all because Ormond Tyre & Service Centre, feel they are a law unto themselves, and don't actually have to follow any governing body, but their own opinion on the day. Very disappointed and very poor form from this workshop. Sharing my honest experience to hopefully help others to make their own decision when booking their car in here.
